Sweet G’s Ice Cream is one of Frankfort’s hidden gems. We’re tucked away at 29 Reilly Road, just about 200 yards directly across the road from the Buffalo Trace Distillery.

This makes us a convenient stop for anyone traveling the Bourbon Trail and for anyone who’s looking for a delicious sweet treat of freshly made soft serve ice cream.

Our menu includes flavors we serve all the time like Chocolate, Vanilla and Chocolate/Vanilla Twist, but we also often have options like Cappuccino, Butter Pecan and Orange Creamsicle. We also serve sundaes, milk shakes, floats and splits, and we often mix up some seasonal fruit flavors as well by including fresh strawberries, peaches, bananas and the like. We call that “The Farmer’s Pick!”

Sweet G’s is family owned and a nice little piece of heaven. The ice cream is very flavorful and rich in cream. The specialty items are out of this world and the service is quick and no skimping on the toppings. Best ice cream around the area. Do not miss out on this great experience and most importantly this ice cream. It should be in your schedule once a week. You won’t regret it!!
