ABOUT LINNEY’S PIZZA OF FRANKFORT

Benet and Cindy Linney owned and operated two Pasquale’s Pizza restaurants in Indiana from 1966 to 1969. After selling those two restaurants in 1969, Benet was hired by the Pasquale’s franchisor to oversee the opening of new restaurants and supervise and assist existing restaurants. Two years later, in 1971, Benet and Cindy moved to Frankfort and opened another Pasquale’s.

After 18 years, the Pasquale franchise company was sold to Labatt’s Brewery, a Canadian company. The Linneys then decided to become an independent restaurant, so they changed the name of their establishment to Linney’s. The original restaurant operated at 717 East Main Street until 2007, when the current building was opened and the old one was demolished to provide more parking. While the Linneys have opened and operated several other restaurants since 1971, their flagship operation has always been the Frankfort location.

The Linney family invites you to stop in and see why customers have made Linney’s a Frankfort landmark for 40 years, and why they continue to do so today.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF PIZZA IN FRANKFORT

Kentucky State Senator and longtime Frankfort resident Fred Bradley has the distinction of opening the first pizza parlor in Frankfort. The second was Milano’s Pizza on Grandview Drive, which was followed by a Pizza Hut on East Main Street. Linney’s became Frankfort’s fourth pizza parlor when it opened in 1971 as Pasquale’s Pizza at 717 East Main Street.

Linney’s routinely scores 99 and 100 on Health Department Inspections!

I have been eating at Linney’s, since it was named Pasqulles when I was a teen, back in the early 70’s. A great family owned business that you would always see each week like a good friend!
ALL THEIR FOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN HERE HAS BEEN FANTASTIC!!! The Stromboli’s are just as mouthwatering now as they were back then!!! I HAVE NEVER HAD BETTER!!! Pizzas are handmade fresh everytime. They have a quality taste you can always count on. They have added to the menu with different pastas, salads, and a WONDERFUL HOT BREAD with garlic butter and even a delish Hot Brown!!!
    I STILL GIVE LINNEY’S:

    BEST Italian in town!
Have you tried the bread? You can’t find better! Linneys is a place for great food and a clean family surrounding. By the way, the prices are just right for the working mans pockets too. 🙂
